We just keep getting closer and closer to the August 17 release of Sachse product Dondria‘s upcoming Jermaine Dupri-backed debut full-length, Dondria vs. Phatfffat. And the anticipation’s getting more and more palpable: Next week, the R&B singer will release the music video to “Shawty Wussup,” the second single from the album and the follow-up to “You’re The One,” the phenomenal lead single, which has hit as high as No. 8 on Billboard‘s Heatseekers chart and currently sits in the No. 13 position on that chart, as well as No. 15 on the Hip-Hop and R&B Songs Chart.
The above clip should help those still unfamiliar with Dondria’s work get an idea for her sound, thanks to some background offered up by the singer herself as well as Dupri and the album’s co-producer, Bryan-Michael Cox, plus others.
