The New Year was spotlighted in the site’s weekly feature “Quit Your Day Job.” While not only giving the band props for their “instantly memorable melodies and smart, emotionally naked lyrics” the site also spoke with Matt Kadene about his job as a college professor at Hobart and William Smith Colleges.
