Kidd’s performance doesn’t bode well for your Mavericks next season. Eff intangibles and leadership, the Mavs are counting on Kidd to be the Red Bull in their vodka. Consider Kidd’s decline, top draft pick Shan Foster’s departure to Europe and Josh Howard’s loose screw, and the only positive Mavs news this summer is Dirk Nowitzki’s healthy departure from Beijing and his apparent commitment to win an NBA title in Dallas.
