Do y’ever do something nice just for the sake of doing something nice? No? Well luckily, the good people at Lower Greenville’s Café Brazil do, as today, they’ll be treating any and all patrons to a FREE entrée from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.

During that glorious nine-hour stretch, guests will be faced with the daunting task of deciding between huevos rancheros and chorizo eggrolls, two of Café Brazil’s most applause-worthy dishes. The culinary rundown:

Huevos rancheros — Two corn tortillas topped with two whole eggs sunny side up, chipotle sauce, feta cheese, and your choice of turkey, chicken, or chorizo. Served with a cup of black bean soup, mixed greens, and guacamole.

Chorizo egg roll — A crispy egg roll stuffed with chorizo, black beans, corn, jalapeño, jack cheese, onions and cilantro. Served with a chipotle-ranch dressing.

Your support strengthens our coverage.

We’re aiming to raise $30,000 by December 31, so we can continue covering what matters most to you. If the Dallas Observer matters to you, please take action and contribute today, so when news happens, our reporters can be there.

$30,000

Not bad for FREE.

In order to cash in on this sweet (and savory) deal, either bring in a printed-off copy of Café Brazil’s June 4-dated blog post that announced their well-to-do action, or simply visit the website on your iSmartphoneDroidpad and show it to your server. That works too.

There are no substitutions, so don’t make your way out to CB expecting to pull a switcheroo on your meal. If you do, expect your server to glare disapprovingly and remark on how folks just don’t appreciate nothin‘ these days.

The participating Café Brazil is located at 2900 Greenville Ave. FREE.
