Every year at SXSW, our parent company, Village Voice Media, hosts a day-party concert filled with enticing national names. This year will be no different, I’m told, although the lineup card for this year’s show hasn’t yet been announced. We’ll let you know as soon as it is.

That said, we do have something else of an announcement to make: At this year’s SXSW festival, we here at the Observer have been asked to host an official, night-time, sanctioned showcase of DFWd talents. The showcase will be held on Saturday, March 21, at Habana Bar (708 E. 6th St.).

Check the complete–and quite varied–lineup after the jump.

9 p.m.: I Love Math
10 p.m.: Bosque Brown

When news happens, Dallas Observer is there —
Your support strengthens our coverage.

We’re aiming to raise $30,000 by December 31, so we can continue covering what matters most to you. If the Dallas Observer matters to you, please take action and contribute today, so when news happens, our reporters can be there.

$30,000

(For what it’s worth, I’m also told that we’re St. Vincent‘s official SXSW sponsor, although, to be honest, at this point, I’m not a hundred percent sure what that means.)
