Ticket listeners just heard the morning Musers debate this a.m.’s breaking Pacman Jones news: Jailed 29-year-old Arvin Edwards tells Nashville’s CBS affiliate that the new Dallas Cowboys corner ordered him to shoot up a Las Vegas nightclub in 2007. Jones has maintained it didn’t go down like that: The former Tennessee Titan — suspended from playing in the NFL till Roger Goodell decides he’s a changed man — says Edwards was the shooter and that he later tried to extort Jones, threatening his mother and daughter if the then-Titan didn’t cough up $15,000. Edwards says, Not s’much, claiming that the shooter was a friend of Pacman’s and that Jones “paid somebody to shoot that club up.” –Robert Wilonsky
