Because just two months after the Dallas Cowboys’ QB stopped to help a couple fix their flat — only hours after getting 13 stitches in his chin following the Browns game — today The Dallas Morning News‘ Cowboys Blog brings news of his latest random act of kindness. Seems Tony bought a homeless man named Doc a ticket to the movies, then invited Doc to sit with him. Best part: They went to see Role Models. (As an aside, while some of the News comments are pretty genius — as in, “I know a Marine who just got back from Iraq who said that a Tony Romo rookie card in his front pocket stopped a bullet” — I simply don’t understand how it turned into a David Carr debate.) –Robert Wilonsky
