The Cowboys’ move from Valley Ranch to Frisco is moving forward. On Monday, the Frisco City Council took a look at some initial plans for the 66-acre site.
Of course, America’s Team can’t settle for a tasteful office complex and modest practice facility. The keystone of the project will be “Cowboys Alley,” the retail-and-restaurant development planned for the entrance to what The Dallas Morning News refers to as a “multi-use sports complex.”
It is, judging by the video produced for the council by O’Brien Architects, a small Cowboys theme park, where fans gather to dine at football-themed restaurants and cheer wildly at what appears to be 20-year-old footage of Emmitt Smith. Somehow, it seems to fit in Frisco.
