It started on Sunday in the closing minutes of the Eagles’ 54-11 shellacking of the Chicago Bears when Philly fans filled Lincoln Financial Field with chants of “We want Dallas!” The taunts have only increased in scope and volume as Sunday’s season-deciding Cowboys-Eagles grudge match has neared.
Call it trolling. Call it a reasonable assessment of probabilities, given Dallas’ defensive woes, Philly’s insanely productive offense, and Tony Romo’s probable absence. In any case, Eagles fans are really, really confident they’re going to win.

Cowboys backup QB Kyle Orton is a particularly ripe target:
Here’s the take of “Unabashedly the #1 Philadelphia Sports Twitter”:
And here’s a guy who’s decided that Eagles have won divine favor despite the fact that a) God doesn’t watch football; and b) Philadelphia is a godforsaken crap hole.
Now if the Cowboys can just find a way to transform their opponent’s brash overconfidence into a functioning defense, then maybe they’ll have a shot.
