KTVT-Channel 11’s got the goods: video from Dallas County Commissioners Court today, where Item No. 6c on today’s agenda was, simply, “Sheriff Overtime.” Nothing simple about it, though, as John Wiley Price and Ken Mayfield went at it over the amount of dough being paid to deputies working extra shifts during construction on the new jail — as in, Price is for it; Mayfield, against it. Nice to see Dallas County Judge Jim Foster break up the goddamned bullshit … oh, wait, he didn’t. –Robert Wilonsky
