USA Today profiles NBA All-Star Weekend co-host Mark Cuban, who’s, like, mellowed in recent years; hence his burgeoning bromance with NBA commissioner David Stern, who, far as you know, is currently engaged in a heroic snowball battle with the mayor at the Dallas Convention Center. Not nearly as funny: the new Dallas Police Department Web series starring Lt. Andy Harvey, First Watch. The first “episode” is also after the jump, but you’ve been warned: Pilots are usually the worst episode in the lifespan of any series. You need more time for character development, and it’s hard to find the rhythm and pace the first go-round. Also, needs a love interest, more explosions and maybe Bradley Whitford’s mustache.
