‘Baaaaaaallgaaaame!”

My favorite comment on Deadspin this morning, concerning Josh Hamilton’s home run last night off Los Angeles Angels reliever Francisco Rodriguez, comes from Hustler of Culture: “No joking, hiting a walk-off homerun while fireworks go off and the theme to the ‘Natural’ is played must be a fucking amazing feeling.” My favorite comment from the Los Angeles Times‘ game recap this morning: “No pitcher in history has saved more games before the All-Star break than Rodriguez, who was one out away from his 36th when Hamilton stepped to the plate.” –Robert Wilonsky
