The “pop punk” quartet LoveHateHero rolled through The Door last Saturday on its current nationwide tour. The band’s melodies feature, “pop-sensibility and stylistic toughness … with songs you will find in your head for days and nights to come.” Super.

Dallas-based cover band MetaSoma thrilled/whipped to death (you decide) Lakewood Bar and Grill last Saturday with this rendition of STP’s “Plush”.

Warped Tour-fixture Pennywise brought its hardcore punk rock to the Granada on Friday night. I’ve never seen so many violently-delighted people in my life.

Desperately searching out the new LFO? You missed your chance then, as five-piece boy-band VFactory tip-toed its way through the House of Blues on Saturday night. It just happened to be on the same card as Menudo – go figure.
