Yesterday afternoon, lead JoBro Joe Jonas, like his Colleyville-bred girlfriend before him, gave Neon Indian an official Twitter endorsement, calling the band “a good listen.”
Unsurprisingly, Hipster Runoff sister site The Alt Report is all over the news, asking the important questions, like “Will the Jonas Brothers write a chillwave album in 2k12?” and “Has chillwave gone mainstream/tween stream?” Interesting questions, for sure–and a fun read well worth the few minutes it takes.
Me? I’m just really enjoying the support faux-locals are giving other faux-locals these days. Really encouraging stuff for the faux-local music scene, I think.
