There’s another name to add to the list of local artists nominated for Grammys. Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra Music Director Miguel Harth-Bedoya is up for his work on Traditions And Transformations: Sounds Of Silk Road Chicago. The recording features Harth-Bedoya conducting the Chicago Symphony Orchestra with soloist Wu Man (whose name is completely misleading, as she is neither a man nor affiliated with the Wu-Tang Clan.) and Yo Yo Ma (pictured with Harth-Bedoya). The nomination is for Category 102,  Best Instrumental Soloist Performance with Orchestra–dunno how Pete missed it. The same album is also up for Best Engineered Album (Classical) and Producer of the Year (Classical). The full list of nominees is here. —Jesse Hughey
