December welcomed a handful of highly anticipated restaurants, with Bolsa Mercado setting up shop just a few doors down from Bolsa, the design District’s Oak opening its doors and the Galleria welcoming Townhouse Kitchen and Bar. Openings Oak (1628 Oak Lawn): Owners Tommy DeAlano and Richard Ellman hired Plan B (Bolsa and Cedars Social) to create the new Design District restaurant.
Townhouse Kitchen and Bar (13340 Dallas Pkwy): The chic half restaurant, half bar opened its doors in the Galleria.
The Chesterfield (1404 Main Street): The restaurant and bar opened in downtown Dallas.

Bolsa Mercado (634 W Davis St.): The highly anticipated Bolsa Mercado opened its doors a couple of weeks ago, and only a few doors down from Bolsa.
Tate’s (2723 McKinney Ave.): The Mckinney Ave. bar recently opened, and foodbitch sat down with two of Tate’s bartenders for a boozy interview.
Company Café (second location (3136 Routh St.)): Their Katy Trail location opened on Tuesday, December 6.
Closings Aquadora (5301 Alpha Rd.): The North Dallas seafood restaurant has closed its doors for good.
Coming Soon Meso Maya (second location) : Meso Maya is supposed to open a second location in Luna’s Tortilla Factory.
Sundown at Granada (3520 Greenville Ave.): The restaurant and beer garden located next to the Granada Theater will open its kitchen on January 13.
