Anyone who’s been lulled into thinking that Texas Democrats might finally have their act together need look no further than Kesha Rogers. Rogers, a Lyndon Larouche Democrat who’s staked her U.S. Senate campaign on a promise to impeach Obama (she’s compared him to Hitler), somehow managed to get into a runoff for the party’s nomination with Dallas dentist David Alameel. This despite explicit and repeated warnings from the Democratic Party not to vote for her.
Not everything Rogers says is crazy, though. She wants to reinvigorate the space program and implement financial regulations to limit the size of too-big-to-fail banks, to name a couple of examples.
That said, her latest campaign ad returns her comfortably off the rails.
“Never trust a dentist who looks like Dracula,” the ad says above eerily similar photos of Alameel and Bela Lugosi as Dracula. Below is a quote: “I am David Alameel, and I don’t vant you to vote for Kesha, ah ah ah.”
