Remember waaaay back in July when I posted this and took all kinda heat for getting ahead of myself and/or jinxing your Texas Rangers?
With the Rangers seemingly headed for their first World Series championship, even the folks who matter are starting to ask the question: Where the heck would we hold a victory parade in lil’ ol’ Arlington?
Dallas is the hub of the metroplex.
The Rangers are Tarrant County’s team.

But, yet, they play in Arlington.
Questions: Down I-30? Down Randol Mill Road? At J. Gilligan’s? On runway A-1 at D-FW Airport? Dallas’ Deep Ellum? Fort Worth’s Stockyards? Inside Rangers Ballpark?
Answer …
Mayor Robert Cluck of Arlington isn’t pulling a Laura Miller and releasing exact plans, but he did say over the weekend that his city – that’s right, his city – has a couple of options including holding a parade on a city street or in and around Rangers Ballpark.
Cool?
