Right now we’d settle for a preseason win, okay?

The Cowboys don’t need to win tonight. But, seriously, they do need to at least look decent.

Typically NFL teams use the third preseason game as the dress rehearsal for the regular season. So will be the case tonight when Dallas’ starters will go three quarters against the Houston Texans at Texas Stadium.

The team has been mediocre at best in the first two exhibitions, but tonight we should get more extended looks at Tony Romo, DeMarcus Ware and the front-line players. Also, Pacman Jones starts at cornerback, so there’s a little more intrigue than the usual glorified scrimmage.
