Parking lots: Packed. Stadium: Sparse. Field: Honestly, it’s uglier than ever.
Old, dilapidated Texas Stadium will soon be a hole in the roof that becomes a hole in the ground. And tonight, for the whole world to see, it looks every bit its age.
On the playing surface appears to be foreign, faint lines. Perhaps crop circles? Or, could it be? Oh my gosh, I think it is:
Lacrosse.
Game was back in May, best I remember. Its remnants, however, will be highly visible in the stadium’s final Monday Night Football game.
The goals — for those of you scoring at home — are/were marked by circles on each 10-yard line. — Richie Whitt
